Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ferret Growth ("Ferret Growth," "I," "me") collects, uses and shares information when you visit ferretgrowth.com or apply for the $10M Growth Plan. Ferret Growth is run by Cody Gibbs. If you have questions, email cody@ferretgrowth.com.

Information I collect

Information you give me

When you apply through the form on this site, I collect what you enter, including:

  • Your name, email address and your store's URL.
  • Information about your business, such as revenue range, gross margin range, profitability, marketing spend, how you've grown, who runs growth today and your role.
  • Anything you write in open-ended answers.

If you email me or we work together, I also keep what you send me. If you become a client, information you share during the engagement (such as access to your store, ad accounts or financials) is handled under our agreement with each other.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically by the site's hosting provider and by the tools described below. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, campaign parameters in the link you clicked (such as UTM tags), and actions you take, such as opening or submitting the application form.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. that uses cookies and similar technologies to measure how people who see Ferret Growth ads on Facebook and Instagram use the site. When you view a page or submit the application form, the pixel sends that event to Meta. For form submissions, it includes a general label for whether the application fits my criteria. It doesn't include your form answers, name or email.

Meta may use this information to measure ad results, show ads to people who have visited this site, and find similar audiences, and it may combine it with other information it has about you under its own privacy policy. This means Meta and other third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites.

You can limit this in several ways:

This site doesn't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

How I use information

  • To review your application, contact you, and prepare your growth plan.
  • To provide services if we decide to work together.
  • To measure and improve my advertising and this site.
  • To keep the site running and secure, and to meet legal obligations.

How information is shared

I don't sell your personal information for money. I share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that help run the site and my business, including Netlify (website hosting), Tally (the application form), Google (web fonts) and my email provider. They process information on my behalf.
  • Meta, through the Meta Pixel, as described above. Under some state privacy laws, this kind of sharing for advertising may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising."
  • For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, safety or property.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of the business, where the new owner would be bound by this policy for information already collected.

How long I keep information

I keep application information for as long as I need it to review your application, stay in touch about working together, and keep reasonable business records. You can ask me to delete it at any time, unless I need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to tell you what personal information I have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for advertising. Email cody@ferretgrowth.com and I'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days. I may need to confirm your identity first. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, and I won't treat you differently for using them.

Security

I use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or online service is completely secure.

Children

This site is for business owners and isn't directed to children. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Where information is processed

Ferret Growth is based in the United States, and the services it uses may process information in the United States and other countries.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
